WhatsApp sends strong warning to WhatsApp Plus, GB WhatsApp users
WhatsApp warns that users face having their accounts permanently blocked if they download unofficial, modified versions of the app.
Users of Whatsapp must take note that Whatsapp will ban them from using their social media app if they are found to be engaging in acts that break the terms and conditions of use.
One of such using unapproved version of Whatsapp or using WhatsApp apps that are not the official app. The big question is how can users of the Whatsapp application detect whether they are using the original or fake app. Keep reading for all the answers.
The fact is, any account using modified apps will be blocked permanently and the phone number would no longer be accepted by WhatsApp
Users of WhatsApp are interested in using an app that has several features and that is where the problem lies. For those who have the quest for this, the modified versions of WhatsApp are the best because they offer more features however, that is where the danger lies. Whatsapp will detect such apps and block your access to its services forever.
Third-party apps such as WhatsApp Plus and GB WhatsApp are illegal versions of the app which permit users to additional features which the official app doesn’t have.
Some of these features are
1. They allow Whatsapp users to schedule messages to be delivered later, at regular intervals, and on special occasions.
2. They permit you to create auto-replies.
3. Users can also send a greater number of photos at the same time.
4. Users further turn off the blue-tick message-receipt feature for incoming messages.

WhatsApp warns of security risks of using unofficial versions of the app. According to WhatsApp, “Unsupported apps, such as WhatsApp Plus, GB WhatsApp, or apps that claim to move your WhatsApp chats between phones, are altered versions of WhatsApp. These unofficial apps are developed by third parties and violate our Terms of Service.”
Whatsapp seeks to protect its users and prevent the use of unofficial apps hence it indicates to users that “WhatsApp doesn’t support these third-party apps because we can’t validate their security practices.
