Man hangs himself on orange tree (PICTURE)
Man hangs himself to death on an orange tree at Tinkong, a rural community in Akuapem North Municipality in the Eastern region.
On Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at around 6:00 p.m., three youngsters playing football near the murder site discovered the deceased, Donkor alias Odo, hanging from an orange tree on a rope made of a mosquito net interwoven with a rag and other items.
He wore only shorts and was bare-chested. According to Ghana24.org sources, the deceased had a minor stroke a few months ago but recovered following treatment.

He did, however, go to live alone in a home, abandoning his wife and five children. He became hooked to drinking as a result.
Police from Adawso had arrived to transport the body to the mortuary following preliminary inquiry, according to Assembly Member for the region Samuel Abokyi.
The dead did not leave a letter or convey his problem to anybody, which might have been a factor in his actions.
