BREAKING NEWS: Andre Ayew to Sign for Qatari side Al Sadd

Captain Andre Dede Ayew of the Ghana Black Star has finally agreed to sign for Qatari side Al Sadd. 

The player is expected to arrive in Doha today July 2022 to round up the signing process for Al Sadd. He will be expected to append his signature to the new contract that will see him play for the Qatari football giants. 

The official announcement of his signing by the club and a press conference is expected. 

Ayew was a member of the EFL Championship club Swansea City and the captain of the Ghana national team until he become a free agent at the end of the season when the club failed to make it back to the EPL in the final playoff.

Andrew was earlier hinted to remain in Europe, but he finally opted for Asia.
In the build-up to the Qatari move, Ayew had this today “There are also offers coming from the Gulf, Asia and other…So I need to take my time and make the right decision for me, but also for the nation with all we have coming ahead…All Ghanaians are waiting for that with a lot of patience.”

The Qatari side Al Sadd took to their Twitter handle to announce an agreement has been reached to sign the Andre Dede Ayew.

“#AlSadd have reached an agreement to sign Ghanaian star Andre Ayew. The player will arrive in Doha in the morning to complete the routine procedures, followed by the signing of the contract and the official announcement” the tweet read.
Football rumour has it that the 31-year-old Ghanaian international will take home $220,000 each month with his new deal.
