SUHUM YOUTH CONDEMNS THE VIOLENT ACTS OF SUHUM NPP

It saddens my heart as a youth who hills from suhum seeing what happened over the weekend in my constituency (Suhum).

The fight and brutality that happened in the NPP (elephant family) is highly condemnable
I have sighted a horrible video circulating on social media in which supporters of NPP’s member of Parliament for Suhum (Hon. Kwadwo (Asante) clashed with Supporters of Protozoa, an Aid to the Chief of Staff at Flagstaff House and an NPP parliamentary candidate hopeful for Suhum, at Suhum during the final funeral rites of the late Kwame Boadu Atiemo aka Papa Sunkwa, father of Opare, a die-hard NPP serial caller.

As a youth, whenever a see things like this happening, it puts me in a lachrymose state and I ask myself a few questions,

Is politics about fighting or understanding?

What do we want as a political party in the constituency, is it development or our stomach satisfaction?

The unfortunate and misguided attitude of Suhum Npp sometimes makes it difficult to say you are from Suhum when you travel, why, because someone will refer to killings, political fights, and blood bathing as the most popular 51/51 between Hon.Opare Ansah (Former MP for suhum) and Hon. Bryan Acheampong (now MP for Abetifi) during their primaries some years back.

I will plead on the securities service inSuhum constituency to try their best to bring the perpetrators of this brutality to book and also ensure that there is peace and calm within the constituency because it is too early to start witnessing this, if not then we can’t imagine what will happen in their 2023 primaries and even in 2024 elections.

Lastly to our political parties NDC and NPP in the constituency, we the youth want jobs rather than fighting.
To the youth of Suhum politics is about idea sharing, not butchering.

Arise the youth of Suhum for development. Condemn the NPP Violent Acts and let us uphold peace and tolerance.

Long live Ghana.
