Razak Kojo Opoku Writes on LGBTQI+ in Ghana

People are vehemently against LGBTQI+ and went further to initiate a Bill to criminalize the abnormal acts, aimed at helping to protect the laws of God, nature, and cultural heritage. Yet, these same people are strongly against the construction of the National Cathedral for the same God who they are helping to protect His laws.

LGBTQI+ in Ghana, and the National Cathedral

Why do you help God to protect the sanctity of His laws against LGBTQI+ and at the same time kick against the Construction of God’s Cathedral? Are you not being a hypocrite?

However, the construction of a National Cathedral for God is equally good as the passage of anti-LGBTQI+ Law. Both initiatives would help to protect and promote the sanctity of God, nature, and cultural heritage.

The debate on LGBTQI+ in Ghana has not picked up yet as many are highly divided on the issue which will engage the minds of Ghanaians for a very long time.

The three religions (Christianity, Islam, and African Traditional) all frown on same-sex relationships being espoused by the proponents of LGBTQI+ in Ghana. The bill on LGBTQI+ in Ghana which aims at criminalizing the act has the endorsement of many prominent people, including the Speaker of Ghana’s parliament.

Will Ghana win the fight against which it calls an abomination? Will the foreign advocates push their agenda and cause the culture of the people to be altered? Time will tell.
