SSNIT’s Sweet Celebration: National Chocolate Week Delights Customers in Northern Ghana
In a heartwarming gesture of appreciation, the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) recently marked National Chocolate Day with a special treat for their customers in Northern Ghana.
From sharing chocolates with informal sector clients in Buipe to spreading joy in the Tamale Metropolis, SSNIT expressed gratitude for the loyalty shown by their patrons while ensuring a secure future and welfare for all.
During the event, Mr. Albert Owusu-Boateng, the Northern Regional Branch Manager, seized the opportunity to educate attendees about the Self-Employment Enrolment Drive (SEED), emphasizing its role in bolstering pension contributions and securing financial stability for the future.
With over 900 members already enrolled in 2023, SSNIT aims to onboard nearly 2000 more informal sector participants from the Northern region by the end of 2024.
Highlighting the invaluable health benefits available to customers, Owusu-Boateng underscored SSNIT’s commitment to providing support in times of medical need and ensuring financial protection for beneficiaries. Moreover, the scheme offers survivor benefits in the event of a member’s passing, accessible to all contributors.
Mr. Iddrisu Adam Andani, Seed Officer of SSNIT, urged all informal sector workers to join the SEED program, emphasizing the importance of securing one’s future independence during retirement.
Mr. Festus Dark-Preko, the Northern Sector Area Manager, reiterated SSNIT’s dedication to enhancing the quality of life for all beneficiaries, underscoring the organization’s focus on customer service excellence and accessibility.
As SSNIT continues to pave the way for a brighter future, they encourage the public to recognize the value of the scheme and contribute accurately to enjoy enhanced pension benefits.
