The notion that one needs Apor to pass the BECE mock exam is an indication that a student is already failing the BECE because if you are engaging in such thoughts, you will never be ready for the examination. Getting leaked questions and using them to pass the mock will give you fake results and make you feel like you are getting better.

The reality is that you are digging your grave. You will not study well for your main exam because you will only concentrate on topics or questions you have prior knowledge of, go to the mock exam, and pour out the memorized answers.

If you don’t get the same help with the main examination, you are bound to fail. You can’t prepare independently and cover all topics for the main BECE. You will fail the BECE if the Apor you receive does not match the WAEC’s questions. If you manage to get the Apor, you are more likely to be caught, and that has several negative implications.

Parents, teachers, and school leadership have a lot to do to get students into the right frame of mind as they prepare for their impending mock exams and the BECE.

The 2024 BECE is scheduled for July 8th to 12, 2024, and students need to be ready to make good grades to earn a place in basic 10 at the senior high school.

Fear of likely failing the exam, a feeling of inadequate preparation, and the mere desire to cheat can influence the decision to engage in examination malpractices of various degrees.
