KNUST Course registration Portal opens for 2023/2024 Academic Year
In preparation for the 2023–2024 school year, administrators at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi are preparing to launch the online course registration portal today. From Monday, December 18, 2023, to Monday, January 15, 2024, Continuing Students will have access to the portal for registration.
Academic Week stated during this week that the institution in Kumasi has posted online the preliminary fees for the 2023/2024 academic year. Undergraduate and graduate students from Ghana, as well as international students from other countries, are all included in the advertised academic fees.
The West African Examination Council (WAC) is expected to release the WASSCE 2023 results for school candidates on December 18th, 2023. This will help students who have applied for admission into KNUST to complete their registration and be considered for admission for the admission board of the university.
Which students can enrol in classes?
The following groups of students are eligible to register for semester courses through the university’s official website for information technology:Individuals who have paid all fees associated with their programme of study. All students who owe money have been cleared by the financial officer.
Instructions on how to register for KNUST Semester Online Courses
Following the procedures below will allow you to register for your semester courses using your Student Credentials, which include your Student ID, Email address, or password.
- Connect to the student portal by going to apps.knust.edu.gh/students.
- Please sign in using your student credentials, which include your Student ID, Reference, and password.
- Click the Course Registration button once you have successfully logged into the student portal’s Dashboard.
- The system will choose the required classes for the current semester on its own automatically.
- Choose the electives that you want to focus on.
- To add your elective classes to your registration, you will need to click on the “Register” link that is located next to them.
- On the “Submit” button, click the button.
- You will see your results after the page has finished loading, so please be patient.
- You can either store your results digitally or print them out for future reference.
- If you experience any problems, please report them to your Department Examinations Officer or get in touch with the Programme Coordinator.
- You also have the option of registering for your KNUST semester courses through the KNUST Academic Information Manager Application (AIM), which offers another registration option.

After you have registered for KNUST Courses, what comes next?
Print off your course registration sheet once you have completed the registration process for your semester classes. You should sign it and then bring it back to the office of your department so that your department head can sign it.
