TERIA Foundation Champions Climate Resilience at 2024 Earlyfest

In a significant effort to promote Ghana’s resilience to emergencies, the TERIA Foundation recently hosted a stakeholder engagement forum focused on the urgent challenges of climate change.

The forum, themed “Tackling Climate Change Through Early Years: The Role of Stakeholders,” brought together a diverse group of participants, including representatives from the agriculture sector, media, students, and climate change advocates.

Together, they engaged in meaningful discussions to develop actionable strategies and recommendations for future developments in this critical area.

Key topics of discussion included enhancing climate change adaptation technologies, promoting climate-smart agricultural practices, improving disaster risk management strategies, and bolstering community resilience to climate-related shocks.

During the forum, advocates for climate action stressed the critical need for political will and robust policy frameworks to effectively address climate change adaptation efforts.

They called for a stronger commitment from government entities, policymakers, and international organizations to prioritize sustainability and climate resilience across Africa.
