Coronavirus Update No. 26

This update is the 26th since the first two covid-19 cases were recorded in Ghana. The country has in recent times recorded several cases of the new Delta variant of the virus, which is also spreading faster within the community.

Some 135 cases were recorded in Achimota SHS. Noguchi has called for an urgent effort and strict adherence to covid-19 protocols since the new variant poses a health risk to the Ghana people many of whom are not vaccinated.

The total commitment of Ghanaians toward observing the covid-19 protocols is one sure way for the nation to deal with the surge in cases. Schools, Churches, Public and private businesses all need to go back to the string measures puting place whiles public transport operators must insist on passengers putting on their nose masks
