2025 Africa Early Childhood Education Awards: Call for Nominations

The Transformational Empowerment and Rural Integration in Africa (TERIA) Foundation proudly announces the opening of nominations for the 5th Africa Early Childhood Education Awards (AECEA).

This annual event aims to honor the exceptional work of early childhood educators and stakeholders across the continent.

We invite early childhood practitioners who have at least two years of experience in the field to participate.

The awards encompass a variety of categories, highlighting the diverse contributions of individuals and organizations dedicated to early childhood education.

Categories for Nomination:

1. Educator of the Year (Female)
2. Educator of the Year (Male)
3. Assistant of the Year
4. Early Childhood Development Centre of the Year
5. School Manager of the Year
6. Proprietress of the Year
7. Proprietor of the Year
8. Caregiver of the Year
9. Nursery Facilitator of the Year
10. KG Facilitator of the Year
11. Best Facilitator (Lower Primary)
12. Best Facilitator (Upper Primary)
13. Outstanding Educator of the Year
14. NGO of the Year
15. Best Centre for Disability
16. Media House of the Year
17. Parent of the Year Award
18. Author of the Year
19. Best School Cook of the Year
20. Lifetime Achievement Award

The AECEA ceremony will occur on November 22, 2025, focusing on the theme: “Discovering Gifts and Talents in Early Years: Our Roles as Stakeholders.”
