2021 WASSCE Supervisors, invigilators receive strong WAEC warning
Ahead of the 2021 WASCCE, Supervisors and invigilators have received strong warnings from West African Examination Council (WAEC). The non-profit-making organization which administers the WASSCE for school candidates has asked 2021 WASCCE Supervisors and invigilators to be of good behaviour.
In an interview with Mrs. Rosemond Wilson, the Head, Post Examinations Department monitored by Ghanaeducation.org, she indicated that the success of the 2021 WASSCE is dependent on the attitude and conduct of officers who are deployed by the council in examination centres.
“We are begging all supervisors, invigilators, and candidates to conform with the rules and regulations governing the conduct of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE),” the WAEC staff stated.
She charged WASSCE 2021 supervisors and invigilators, to ensure the candidates are searched properly. She furthered that, they must adhere to the rules governing the sitting arrangements for the examination as directed by the Management of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

Ghana will be presenting its second batch of Free SHS graduates for the examination and would be looking forward to improved performance over the 2020 examination which saw Ghana sweeping over 400 8As ahead of Nigerian and other three member states who write the WAEC examination.

Examination irregularities have been alleged by Africa Education Watch, a think tank that seeks to champion quality education and policies for the betterment of education outcomes in Africa.

It is hoped that the 2021 WASCCE which starts in a months time will be devoid of cheating, 2021 WASSCE leaked questions will not be flooding our social media and all stakeholders including WAEC will put in place world-class security systems to avoid all manner of examination irregularities that have the ability to destroy the credibility of the examination.
